Bottom Fishing

The most common form of fishing among the locals, Bottom Fishing involves a spool of nylon line rigged with a weight, hook and bait, dropped down to the ocean floor in relatively deep waters. A variety of fish species can be caught including red and white snappers, tuna, Spanish Mackerel and more. This is offered as a full day or half day activity, and you are invited to a lunch or dinner prepared with the fish you caught (grilled or fried) on the tour.

Squid Catching

Leave the town in the evening to nearby open waters and fish for squid with a line and bait as they ascend from the depths to feed at night.

*Squid Catching is best during full moon. Time: 8pm - 2am
